2022 marks the year when the National University Health System & Harvard Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Centre (NUHS-Harvard BIDMC) Internal Medicine Conference becomes an annual scientific meeting. Building on the success of our meeting in 2021 and the previous bi-annual iterations, we will be curating the most relevant medical topics and assembling the most distinguished panel of experts to share their insights with our audience on a yearly basis.

On behalf of the Organising Committee of the 6^th NUHS-Harvard BIDMC Internal Medicine Conference , it gives us great pleasure to invite you to join us in our virtual meeting from Friday 28^th to Saturday 29^th October 2022.

As our country continues to transition out of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is timely that we reflect on the lessons learnt and how they will impact our efforts to build a stronger and healthier nation. It is therefore in this spirit that we have chosen the theme "Looking Back, Moving Forward" for the 6^th edition of our meeting.

In light of the country's push to focus on preventive measures and early intervention so as to drive population health, primary care has been singled out as a crucial cornerstone within the masterplan of a healthier Singapore. Therefore, we have curated our program to target not just internal medicine residents and specialists across the various specialties, but also our family medicine colleagues. Our experts will help you make sense of the large volumes of rapidly evolving scientific data while they also share practical tips that will aid you in your routine clinical practice.
